It is in brief, a muscle relaxant. Flexoril is a muscle relaxer and pain reliever. It's a pretty strong drug and is prescription only.
but.. I'm not a pharmacist so don't quote me on it.
Answer Flexoril makes you very sleepy and sends you into a deep heavy sleep, which can last for many hours, but you wake up feeling heavy and groggy. I'd advise not to take it every night but only when you desperately need it. It really is strong. Whatever you do, don't take it with any other sleeping medication, whether prescription or over the counter.

I was put on both of these medications for a double ear-infection and i went out to the bars while taking them and felt no effects. If anything it added a little drowsiness but nothing severe and/harmful.

If your doctor prescribed it to you then yes! I am currently taking it and I have had bad experiences with different muscle relaxers. It just kind of makes me sleepy, but not in a drugged way, more like a tylenol pm does. And then I just go to sleep and sleep great and wake up feeling better. I like it much better than flexoril and definitely more than somas.

That is something you should speak with your DR or pharmacist about. Assuming you have no other conditions that Tylenol PM or Flexoril will interfere with the short answer is yes. I have done it and lived to tell.
