it is bad because the government are mostly evolved as they my not pay people there full pay or say that you can't go and help people because..... there has been diseases or earthquakes recently!!! this cant stop people from helping others or visiting people. that is there job and jobs are meant to be done!
My AnswerLong term aid brings about a dependency of the recipients where in they can not fend or supply for themselves. This is caused by the tendency for the poor and disadvantaged to do things like gather where the aid is and life is possible abandoning their traditional locations and ability to feed themselves.
So aid should be short term and focus on returning a population to a self sustaining situation.
Short term aid is things like food and water that only has a short term effect and long term aid is things that have a long term effect like tools and materials.
emergency aid is when you need something now and long term aid is something to help people in the future
Short Term aid help solve immediate problems. ie. Earthquakes. Long Term aid helps to raise the standard of living in a Country.
Long-term aid is important to countries because who else will help a country to manage to rebuild ALL of their country again, so that's why Long-term aid is importan!
Long term aid, this type of aid is to improve basic living standards and enable people to make better use of their own resources. Long term aid should help a country to progress and improve its overall level of development. Short term aid helps solve immeadiate problems. It brings help quickly to people affected by disasters and emergencies. Floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and even wars are some of the events that bring about a need for short term aid.
because short term aid isn't enough for them, food and shelter wise. they will need constant aid to help them and keep them alive.
Long-term aid refers to sustained assistance provided over an extended period to support development initiatives, foster resilience, and promote self-sufficiency in communities or countries. This type of aid aims to address underlying issues and promote lasting, impactful change rather than providing short-term relief. Examples include infrastructure projects, capacity-building programs, and education initiatives.
its bad
Appropriate aid is a long term aid which is spent wisely. It also has to be affordable for the people of the Country which trains them to be sufficent. :) :) Hope that helped
Two types of foreign aid are humanitarian aid, which is provided in response to emergencies like natural disasters or conflicts to address immediate needs such as food, water, and shelter, and development aid, which is aimed at long-term sustainable development projects in areas such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure.
