Yes, Susan and Shel were married but ended it in a divorce. They had a daughter, Shoshanna who died of a brain anuerism in 1982 at 11 years old and they have a son Matthew, born 1984. (They were married in a church)
I believe the term is called " drop" foot. It is very serious. You may have an injury to the nerve that supplied the front of the foot/ankle. This nerve runs from your spine, down your back, through your butt muscles. The other area that an injury can occur is your brain.....a stroke, anuerism, tumor, degenerative disease can all cause drop foot. GO TO THE DOCTOR, please.
In some cases it can be managed. Yours may not be all that serious. However it can be potentially fatal if left completely untreated. Most problems associated with nutcracker syndrome are dietary in nature -- poor nutrition or dehydration. It can also lead to heart problems -- anuerism for example, or ischemism. There are actually two associated problems -- nutcracker syndrome which is the compression of the renal vein and sma syndrome which is the compression of the duodenum. You should definitely get treatment no matter how mild your condition is (overtime it's bound to be a bad thing, putting stress on your body, especially locally like your aorta). Treatment does not always mean surgery -- in fact if it is mild, surgery may be a bad idea. Note: I am not a doctor, just someone w/ the same disorder -- I've done my own research, it's all on google.
