a registered medical technologist is someone who has a bachelor of science degree in clinical laboratory medicine and passes a national certification examination, post graduation. We study a lot of Biology and chemistry and are a vital part of the healthcare team. I was once told that without lab results, doctors can only guess! In alot of instances, this is true. With advances in the field in the last 30 years that I have been involved, this is more true than ever before.
