To pursue without interfering in any way with those that are being pursued.

ANSWER: I have a friend who's gay and is constantly talking about his pursuits in passive anal intercourse. I have another friend who's always lamenting our obsession with pride and thinks we should forget about pride and seek humility. This strikes me as a passive pursuit. I watch a hell of a lot of television, which is a passive pursuit. I am, to some degree being passively aggressive in answering this question.
