A group of cells that has ignored the basic principles of density-dependent inihibition, and start a massive cell division stacking on top of each other which causes the tumor, although benign they can still push into other organs, however once the tumor has relocated to other parts of the body it becomes malignant, and this expansion is called mestatsis.
