You can't actually "catch" anything, but you can get dehydrated. For more info on dehydration, check a dictionary, encyclopedia, or wiki it. Dehydration, if bad enough can cause kidney failure and eventually shut down other organs, leading to death. Not drinking is in a lot of ways like not eating. If you do not eat you will starve to death and if you do not drink, you will die of dehydration.
