4 yearsAnswerIt takes about four years to complete a bachelor degree in healthcare. However, some colleges offer accelerated healthcare degrees that can be earned in much less time. CollegeAmerica (www.collegeamerica.edu), for example, offers an accelerated bachelors degree in healthcare administration that you can complete in as little as 36 months. The course imparts clinical and business skills required for managerial positions in healthcare facilities.

There are many benefits of universal healthcare. It would provide healthcare to every citizen, there would be unlimited access to healthcare, healthcare would be affordable, and there would be less medical errors.
Less people will be uninsured and fewer will have good coverage. The unemployment will skyrocket and we will have the buying power of a third world country.
Areas with higher concentrations of people and higher populations in general tend to have more available health care resources and facilities, more doctors and nurses with more training and experience, and are closer to the communities they serve. Rural areas tend to have less hospitals and more small clinics with less equipment and less staff. It can often take longer for people to reach services or vice versa. As a result, people in the largest cities like New York, San Francisco, LA, and Seattle tend to have rapid access to world-class healthcare and surgery, whereas the quality of healthcare available in smaller and less affluent cities like Detroit Michigan or Toledo Ohio tend to have less available in many cases. Rural healthcare can be more fragmented and hit or miss. This said, it is still possible to get excellent healthcare from the country doctor or the public health nurse... but it really depends on the situation. There are some excellent rural clinics out there but if you had a stroke you might rather be at UCLA to get it managed.
