If the villagers have an adverse reaction to the treatment, they will--and have every right to--blame you for the outcome. Either way, you must be responsible for your actions. It's important to understand why they don't trust you and your medicine. If possible, persuade them into allowing you to give treatment. If they still do not wish to have treatment, then perhaps your medicine would be better used on a more willing village.
