My spin on this quote ever since I became aware of it, Had to do with my mood disorders. Mainly depression . I always thought throughout my mood swings Bi-polar there was a way of somehow designing it somehow. Mainly to maintain some normal feeling and behavior to get me by even for an hour. This is when I realized basically life is a stage when your in the middle, So why not try to incorporate this technique as part of coping. How wrong could it be if I could accomplish at any given moment I could somehow disguise how I feel by transferring an energy to just a whole new face. Happy. serious. funny. but hide the illness for just enough time to do my gig then fall back. Sounds tricky right? Im not telling anyone its easy to do however believe it or not the rational side of you brain can do it.

I call it the wall of masks, simply observing the so called normal people do it day in day out, then resort to their fix after hours indulging themselves from the hell of a day. No different, except I had to train my otherwise mental issues to manage this.

IN a nut shell my wall of masks are ready for takeoff and my pain behind it, these are a perfectdescription of how it was done. the show was over.

The tragic death of mega-watt celebrity Robin Williams bright spotlight is being shown on the topic of depression, revealing a truer, perhaps more disturbing reality of an insidious mental health problem that is not often discussed and widely misunderstood.

Some comedians have learned to wear a kind of comedic mask, which outwardly projects a jovial public persona, much like the characters they have played, but conceals a sadder, more vulnerable self.

I call this the comedic mask of depression

This is an Example , Rest Robin Williams.

My is dedicated story of my life feeling the pain of the late R. WILLIAMS .
