What does it mean when a guy is quiet and polite around you but is loud and swears around everyone else?
- It means he respects you. However, he shouldn't be swearing at others all the time. As the old saying goes 'When someone doesn't have anything intelligent to say they simply swear.' Tell him to cool it with the swearing because he appears to be a nice guy, but others may dislike his constant swearing and not really get to know the nice guy he is because of it.
- It means he's polite enough not to swear in front of a lady and everything the other person said above.
- On most occasions, this behavior would denote that the guy in question is loud normally, as you say, but he also gets very shy around girls that he likes. This is a good sign and a bad sign, either the guy would treat you the same way he's is treating you now while in a relationship, or after a short time when he is comfortable he will start to gradually start acting toward you the way he doe to everyone else. Probably though, the first option is what would happen, so depending on if you like the guy or not.
