Both your thought patterns are a little twisted. I think what you both mean is, "you have many comparitable ideals and thought processes like the other." Many women think more like a man and not lead with their hormone levels and I am one of these women. I find I am most fortunate in this department. This is a good thing indeed. Perhaps you have a problem with telling him you feel the same way because he didn't exactly word it correctly and you are perceiving it in that way. If you really care for this man, then give it your best shot because these types of men are hard to find. My husband and I are very similar in many ways and our moral attitudes, etc., are almost in line with each other and we've had a long and happy marriage. It doesn't mean if you have differences of opinions you still can't have a good marriage. Take your time and express your feelings more. Until that wedding ring is put on your finger you are not bound to anyone so feel free to express with him you feel the same and see where it goes from there. It's called "mirroring" and is dysfunctional. Try to be more real with each other. Your differences will come out in time.
it means that he really likes you but he thinks he culd do better than you or he wants to marry you It depends on the context. If he pictures you in his future and he likes the thought of you there, it means he wants to retain a relationship with you. If he pictures himself with you in intimacy and he likes it than that's pretty self explanatory.

you can't make a male lick the female unless the male likes the female.
You can use "him" to refer to a male person or object and "her" to refer to a female person or object in a sentence. For example, "I gave him the book" or "She likes to read."
