Infection or urinary stones are the most common causes. It depends on what gender you are. If you are a girl, then it could be a menstrual cycle, implantation bleeding, or a number of things. For men, it could be prostate problems. The best idea is to get it checked out by your primary care physician, who might refer you to a urologist. This should be checked out immediately though. It could be a very serious matter.

It probably means you had some internal bleeding or an infection, and you are passing blood clots. If this continues to happen or you notice pain or blood, see a doctor.
