MID stands for minimum inhibitory dilution. However, normally it is referred to MIC or minimum inhibitory concentration. It is generally regarded as the most basic laboratory measurement of the activity of an antimicrobial agent against an organism.

First an MID indicates the combined value of the other types of white blood cells not classified as lymphocytes (A type of WBC that plays a key role in immunity and helps protect your body from infection.) or granulocytes (A type of of WBC that plays a key role in infection.) Second: There could be a lot of reasons why an MID is high, however, ranges are 0.0-11.0 are known to be a normal range for percentages. From your test 10.6% is in normal range so you shoudn't be conserned about it.

MID is Minimum Inhibitory Dilution in blood tests. They measure rare cells and precursor white cells. A high MID in blood tests means a high level of the rare cells.
