Many scientists view daydreaming as a fundamental feature of the human mind. Some refer to as our "default" mode of thought, and argue that daydreaming is a crucial tool for creativity. Daydreaming allows the brain to engage in abstract imaginative thought which in turn allows the mind to make vital new associations and connections that it (you) would not otherwise think of.

As a result, we can imagine and conjure up things that don't actually exist. New inventions, innovations, and even paradigm shifts are the result. During a daydream, your thoughts have no bounds.

Einstein was an avid daydreamer and reportedly, so was the guy who invented the "post-it-note".
