From personal experience and from a females point of view it is much better to just tell her right away in other words dont go on acting like nothing is wrong it will only make her more upset..just talk to her and explain to her what happened just remember tell her the truth it may hurt but it is MUCH better then leading her to believe that there is nothing wrong..be sensitive and listen to what she has to say.
