zocor 40 mgs is brick red,oval they r coated on 1 side it will say MSD 749 the other side is blank BUT u are most likely getting the generic which is called simvastatin 40mgs of that is round and the color is pinkish the imprints on the pil will vary dependind on which maufactuer it is i no there r at least 3 that make simvastatin which again is the generic for zocor I HOPE THIS HELPS
