Ethics will teach you that there is a right way and a wrong way to live your life, to conduct your business and behave in general. It will let you explore alternative ways to conduct yourself and discover why you want to be viewed as an ethical individual, rather than a sly, sneaky or unethical individual.

If you take a class in etiquette, you learn which fork to use when you are in public and the table setting includes five forks. Well, ethics is the same, it teaches you that while there might be 5 ways to conduct yourself, if you want people to respect you - you always choose the most ethical way.

It would be a good idea if everyone took Ethics, starting in kindergarten. Not enough people view leading an ethical life as an important quality for themselves, but everyone would agree that they want to be treated ethically by others. All it takes is one person to start the change, then they influence someone else. Soon we would all find ourselves living a life that is much less complicated.
