anythink that is soft like ice cream, yogurt, sprinkels as in ice cream toppings, snadwiches, Pizza, chicken but not the bone, marshmallows, anything along those lines.
NOT TO EAT- caramel ( the sauce is fine though) laffytaffy, hard chips, the baked kind at Mexican places are usually good, bones, pencils, and anything else that is hard, chewy, sticky, or is big enough that it will get stuck in your braces and like bend the wire.
YOUR WELCOME!!
when you first get braces you should eat lighter things like soups, applesauce and stuff like that. the first few days its better to eat things that you don't have to chew alot.
if you want to chew gum the best brand is freedent because it wont stick to your brackets or wires or things like that.hope this helps.
you can eat soft food and some hard it depends but no hard candy
the first day I got braces a couple hours later I was eating bagel bites so you can eat most foods as long as they aren't sticky, hard, popcorn, ice, chips, nuts etc. But you must chew slowly and be careful because I was eating a burger and I got choked on a pickle because My mouth had been hurting and I didn't chew.
The best thing to eat with braces would be somethilng soft that doesn't give you too much cavities (pasta, congee) etc.
1. Don't eat anything hard
2. Just eat soft foods like soup, cereal, bread, etc
3. Don't eat fruits like apple unless they are sliced.
I think that you can eat pretty much any foods just whatever it is you should make sure that you watch how you eat it.
You eat things that you are easily able to get out yourself. Stay away from bread and spinach especially. Try very soft foods like ice cream. No apples or nuts.
