Table salt must contain iodine (as potassium iodide or potassium iodate) and an anticaking agent.
Sodium chloride (table salt) contain potassium iodate or iodide (as a source of iodine) and an anticaking agent.
Table salt contain also potassium iodide or iodate (as a source of iodine) and an anticaking agent.
Sodium chloride is extracted from mines or seawater; after this is purified. Iodine (as potassium iodide or iodate) and anticaking agent are added.
Sea salt doesn't contain calcium silicate; calcium silicate can be added to salt as an anticaking agent.
Pure sodium chloride contain only chlorine and sodium. Table salt contain also an iodizing agent and an anticaking additive.
Generally used are potassium iodide or iodate; rarely used sodium iodide or iodate. Also added is an anticaking agent.
Now table salt contain an iodine compound (sodium/potassium iodide/iodate) and an anticaking agent.
