The pros and cons of bandages are these.
Pros:
1) it stops the cut/wound getting infected,
2) it keeps the pain slightly (varying on wound/cut size),
3) if its a huge Wound that would freak out your Boyfriend or girlfriend it hides it so its barley noticeable.
Cons:
1) It can become itchy and irritating,
2) it can stick to the cut/wound thus when bandage is removed you could pull the scab off and end up causing bleeding again,
3) You have to keep changing it in order to stop germs getting to it. (which can get annoying if you're in public)
4) It can keep air from getting to it which can swell up the wound/cut and cause more irritation, burning, itching and/or pain.
Those are pretty much the major ones that I know of. But I'm not a doctor so I don't really know that much, but everyone should know about bandages. and I hope its some help to you.
Hope things turn out if the question is based on a reality Innocent.
