Generally speaking, the effects of Abilify discontinuation (since it doesn't possess addictive or dependence producing properties and, thus, does not have a true withdrawal syndrome) are mild to none at the low end of the dosage spectrum (2-5 mg per day). At higher doses, some individuals notice anxiety and/or irritability of mood as well as other symptoms (but this can be due to the re-emergence of symptoms of the underlying disorder which Abilify was used to treat).
