The risks involved when getting a belly ring piercing are infections, nerve damage, allergic reactions and/or excessive bleeding. Most of the risks can be prevented by handling your piercing with proper, hygienic care.

∙ 14y agoWell let's see, short of you knowing nothing about anatomy, body piercing, disinfection, cross contamination protocols, blood borne pathogens, or first aid ( I think that covers a bulk of it). The chances of causing a serious infection are very great, blood poisoning, rejection and permanent scaring. You know what it doesn't really matter what I try to tell you because chances are really good you have done it already. When you are finished messing up your navel, maybe brain surgery would be fun too. Seriously leave the body piercing to experienced trained professionals.
