YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW THE ANSWER!!! wel here it is...if u do something bad like talk back or say a bad word or not do what ur told or get a grade anywhere below an "A" then they spank you, either with a belt, a bamboo rod, or a slipper, statistics have shown that 84 percent of the time Filipino mothers use slippers because it's the most convienient tool to get to for quick discipline...the dads then use a belt. In some cases there have been the uses of bamboo rods....those things seriously hurt. I had a friend once who got an 89 percent on his AP physics test and becaue his parents saw that he did not get that 'A' they took away his tv, cell phone, and made him break up with his girlfriend by talking to the girlfriend's parents and then somehow forcing them to break up...in addition he was disciplined with a bamboo rod....the following week he showed me the marks and it looked pretty bad....YOU ARE LUCKY TO NOT BE FILIINO....in addition to the punishment they paid Manny Paciquao the professional boxer to come and punch his front two teeth out for public humiliation
....... that's what the other people said... me i am also a filipino... these things that was said was FALSE because filipino people are not like that... neither the manny paquiao sentence is very super duper FALSE.... because he cant do such thing like that... maybe they did like bad one but it was just last 1980's... now if they do abuse, they will be directly be brought to prison... that's all..... :)

Filipinos are naturally religious, so they stick to values being taught by the Church, and it is strictly imposed at home.
