Microorganisms break down our food for us. In our stomach, yes acid does it's part, but acid can only eat the outside in and also can not travel through the rest of the digestive track without being dissolved or harmful to the rest of the body. Bacteria continue the breaking down process without hurting our body (not all bacteria do this, in specific only the ones who specialize in doing so.). That's why cows would die without bacteria. Their systems especially depend on bacteria, although they still have to chew a lot.
The importance of micro-organisms is that they are have an integral role in the environment and are vital to humans. They are known to help in various functions like the natural recycle of living organisms.
Bacteria can be helpful. These are just some of the ways that it is helpful...
Help with digestion
Keeps you healthy
Break down food
Makes food
and more.
Bacteria only being bad is only just a myth.
* They kill certain harmful virus and other bacteria
* Breakdown bio waste
* They assist in the digestive process
Lactobacillus is a helpful micro-organism as it is a useful bacterium that is used to make yoghurt.

In food processes such as cheese, yoghurt & bread
They help with digestion, turn milk into yogurt, and more.
Some microorganisms, usually fungi, create chemicals that work as antibiotics. Microorganisms that cause disease can be weakened and injected as a vaccine in to cause immunity.
There are harmful to all organisms, but some bacteria are helpful in many ways.

Ants can be helpful or harmful, depending on the circumstances. They can be helpful by aerating the soil, eating potentially dangerous pest species, and eating dead organisms that might otherwise lie around. They can be harmful by ruining food or by biting.
Microorganisms multiply in a few different ways. They can multiply using binary fission, mitosis and meiosis. Different organisms use different ways.
antibodies in the blood kill pathogens in the blood
it can give us warmth
In some ways, yes.
they can kill you
Organisms have many ways of communicating with each other. Some organisms use words or a language, some use body language, and some use calls.
There are many ways in which the echinoderms are helpful to the environment. They help to clean up the waste of other marine organisms and they help to maintain the biodiversity within their ecosystem.
