There is no 'cure' for the common cold!!! All the medicines are there just to help you tolerate the symptoms better. Most feel better in about a week no matter what.

Prevention is the best medicine. That's true for many medical conditions. Wash your hands, don't share drinks/food. Stay fit because studies showed a fit person has better immune response, not to mention countless other benefits from being physically fit.
