Phylloquinone is the chemical name for Vitamin K1. It is insoluble in water, soluble in chloroform and slightly soluble in ethanol. It is 2-methyl-3-phytyl-1 and its empirical formula is C31H46O2. Vitamin K1 can be used in some kinds of skin treatments too. Sometimes vitamin K can be helpful as part of a compound to help decrease dark circles around the eyes.
