To confirm Diabetes, your health care provider will test your blood sugar level. Depending on the situation, they may choose one of a number of possible tests including fasting glucose, glucose tolerance, or hemoglobin A1C.
Juvenile diabetes is diabetes which is most commonly found in young people, however they will grow up with it, it will stay with them their whole life. Juvenile diabetes is also called "Type 1" diabetes.
There are a number of different tests that are used for the diagnosis of diabetes. Regardless of the type of glucose test that is done, there should be a second one performed on another day.
Some cephalosporins may cause false positive results on urine sugar tests for diabetes. People with diabetes should check with their physicians to see if they need to adjust their medication or their diets.
The answer depends on what type of diabetes: A chiropractor can definitely help a patient prevent or control Type II diabetes by offering dietary and exercise advice. Further, musculoskeletal complaints (eg: muscle pain) are commonly associated with both type I and type II diabetes. Chiropractors are excellent at the treatment of these musculoskeletal complaints with soft tissue therapy and mobilization/manipulation. A chiropractor can not do anything to help control type I diabetes itself, and medical doctors are best suited for this role.
Yes. It's already confirmed by many doctors.
you technally can not treat type 1 diabetes the only thing you can do is take medicine before you eat and eat something when you want to sleep really badly and really shaky at the same time because you are low.
Type 1 diabetes
The types of Diabetes are type 1 with sub type -brittle diabetes, type 2 and juvenile diabetes, type 3 (under research) , and Gestational diabetes during pregnancy.
well it depends. i myself have type one daibetes. in my case and my brothers they dont know how it happened. no one else in our past family has had it. when i was diagnosed at age 14 the doctors believed that i could have caught a cold that triggered it but not the reason i have it. \diabetes type one is where your body attacks the pancreas and it eventually stops producing insulin. Insulin takes the energy you get from food and transports it to your cells. type two diabetes is where you are unhealthy/overweight. there is no cure for diabetes but there are new ways of controlling it. no one knows why people get type one diabetes but to help people like me and many others that have diabetes donate to JDRF (juvanial diabetes research foundation)
There is NO type of 'good' diabetes, but the one your looking for is probably type 1 diabetes. People are usually born with that type. Type 2 diabetes is the one people get if they're overweight, don't exercise, and they eat junk all the time.
Diabetes incipides
Type 2 Diabetes is when the pancreas cannot produce enough insulin because of that person's intake of too many carbs, sugar, etc. Type 2 is PREVENTABLE. Generally, this person is contributing to the shut-down for their insulin process. People with Type 2 take blood-tests and take man-made insulin whenever they need to. Type 1 Diabetes (Juvenile Diabetes) is NOT PREVENTABLE. The liver in the body stops making insulin for NO reason concerning too much food intake. The insulin-making in the person's Pancreas just shuts down with NO FAULT of that person. TYPE 1 IS CONTROLABLE. Doctors have created insulin-pumps, insulin-shots, and also they can check their blood-sugars with meters. Diabetics have normal lives, and if they know how to takecare of their Diabetes properly, they can go through their lives very healthy. People are usually diagnosed with Type 1 when they're kids; hence "juvenile". There are no known cures for Type 1 Diabetes yet, but doctors and scientists are contributing to find a cure everyday.
