Yes, call your health care professional as soon as possible for instructions or get an exam at an urgent care center. Do not give the child aspirin, you can give children's strength Tylenol to bring it down if they are not allergic to it and are otherwise healthy. Be sure they are drinking plenty to replace lost fluids as long as they are having no problems with nausea and vomiting.
Yes because that high of a temp.
yes
It's a low fever but yes. 103 is a high fever, 104 is when you should call a doctor, 105 is hospital worthy, and 106 can cause brain damage, nerve damage, seixures, and death.
Yes, that is very high! Cool them off and take them to the hospital immediately!
103 is the temperature you should see a doctor at.
well id say to go it would be like around 104
I was told that if your child has a fever of 104 for 4 consecutive hours while using fever reducer medication (tylenol/motrin) and the meds are not bringing it down then you should take them to the er. My 6 yr old has a fever of 103.6 and the meds reduce it. Just keep your child loaded with fluids so they don't get dehydrated. More then likely he has a viral infection and there's nothing their going to be able to do. If he becomes lethargic and unresponsive take him asap, other than that he should be fine. Fevers can lady up to 5 days. If it lasts any longer take him to your pediatrition. If its driving you crazy, I get frantic about fevers as well, dont hesitate to call your pediatrition. Good luck. I always give my son powerade zeros.
No, you should not, but in some cases if it really bad, then yes. But if it gets to 103 or 104 or 105. then YES.
104 is in Fahrenheit. In Celsius/centigrade that is 40 degrees, which is definitely a fever temperature.
A fever can indirectly cause purple lips. As your body temperature rises, you start to feel colder and colder. You should have your temperature checked, any fever over 104 can cause seizures.
