∙ 16y agoIf you are just starting birth control you should wait at least a month before having unprotected sex. That is the safest way to go. If you really can't wait that long you should use condoms for 2 weeks.

Hello, You can perform a pregnancy test 4 days before your period if you wish but the test will be more accurate when you are a few days late for your period. Or alternatively test 3-4 weeks after you last had unprotected sex and the test will be accurate.
