Well, it depends. If your house has a bunch of ant nests well, duh? Walking barefoot is kind of good but sometimes there are pieces of trash or insects you can step in. There are these parasites called hookworms that can cling to your bare foot and begin sucking blood from you. The hookworms can also transmit diseases. However the chances of this happening are very slim. So the answer is yes, you can get sick. If you're gonna walk barefoot be sure to have a clean yard or then....................

Yes, being barefoot is after all our natural state.

For children, especially, some time outside of restrictive shoes is beneficial. However, keep in mind that even open grass can conceal things that can injure you, and roads and sidewalks can get uncomfortably hot in the sun. You may want to carry sandals or flip-flops if you are walking in developed areas, and be cautious about where you step. And be certain to properly care for your feet if they get cuts or scrapes.

Yes. Because walking around barefoot improves the strength and flexibility of the muscles and ligaments of the foot, reducing injuries and improving posture.
