I have asked myself the same question a few times. You can't really control your feelings when it comes to liking someone. I heard a few times that if someone is mean to you, that means that they like you. It really depends on how mean this person is to you. If you are already in a relationship with this person and is being mean to you, then get out of that relationship. It's not worth it. But if you two aren't dating, then wait and see what happens. I hope I was some help in this situation.
