∙ 15y agoThe body enters a temporary state of paralysis during REM (rapid eye movement) stage sleep.
This is primarily a protection since this is also the phase in which dreams occur, and it would be dangerous for the body to be able to move and potentially act out the dreams.

∙ 15y agoThe phase is called Rapid Eye Movement or REM sleep. Most of your dreams occur in this phase so, your mind stops your body from moving so that you do not act out your dreams and end up hurting yourself.
DNA duplication occurs during the interphase, specifically the S phase. After replication, the cell then enters the first active phase of mitosis.
initial phase : to provide temporary power...
The phase of mitosis in which doubling of the centrioles occurs is the G1 phase. During this phase, the centrioles replicate to ensure that each daughter cell will receive a complete set of centrioles.
When DNA replication is completed, the cell enters the G2 phase. G2 phase is usually he shortest of the three phases of interphase. During the G2 phase, many of the organelles and molecules required for cell division are produced. When the events of the G2 phase are completed, the cell is ready to enter the M phase and begin the process of cell division.
DNA replicates during the S phase of the cell cycle. This phase follows G1 phase and precedes G2 phase before the cell enters the next round of cell division. DNA replication ensures that each daughter cell receives a complete set of genetic information.
During the voluntary phase, the tongue aids in pushing and mixing food.Once the food enters the oesophagus, the muscles in the throat undergo a process known as peristalsis. During this phase, the muscles relax and contract to force the food from the mouth into the stomach.tongue
After the S phase in the cell cycle, cells enter the G2 phase where they continue to grow and prepare for cell division. During the G2 phase, the cell undergoes further growth and replicates important organelles. Finally, the cell enters the M phase (mitosis) where it divides into two daughter cells.
The virus enters the host cell in the penetration phase.
During S phase :)
During the first three to six days after you've contracted yellow fever (the incubation period); you won't experience any signs or symptoms. After this, the virus enters an acute phase and then, in some cases, a toxic phase that can be life-threatening.ACUTE PHASE--Once the yellow fever virus enters the acute phase, you may experience signs and symptoms which are:Brain dysfunction, including delirium, seizures and comaThe Toxic phase can be life-treateningthis is what i had put for a project
When a wave enters a waveguide from air, the phase velocity will decrease. This is because waveguides typically have a higher refractive index than air, causing the wave to slow down as it enters the waveguide.
