Its just another phase in life bro. Just deal with it without killing yourself ok!? But in the end there are tons of opportunities awaiting you, cause somewhere out there, there is a girl in the same situation.

Then they are most likely not truly your friend. If you haven't already, try describing the reasons why you feel depressed and if he/she still doesn't think so (actually I would recommend this anyway) then you should go talk to a counsler or psychologist or even just your family physician. Anybody you think can truly help you.
