For one, I believe it is real. It doesn't have to mean that this girl you meet is "drop dead gorgious" so they say. It just means that someone you fell in love with is ideal for you. I for one, have met a girl she is for sure, love at 1st sight. It is real in my opinion.

Love at first sight is just a figment of the imagination, whoever coined this word is indeed a hopeless romantic. Because to say that you love a person and felt this the first time that you saw her or him, is just fooling no one else but himself. Why? Because to say that you love someone means that you are accepting the whole package that that person comes with. You are accepting his/her quirks, foibles, sudden mood swings or changes. If he/she has got a bad breath that is okay with you. If she does not know how to use toilet, it is not an issue with you, you still want to be with this person despite everything that is not so good about her or him. Regardless of the negative aspect, you still love him/her no matter what.
