I always heard my old Russian grandmother recommend using your own urine for severe skin rashes due to contact dermatitis and poison ivy and poison oak. Well, I had a severe case of dermatitis and was out camping in the mountains, away from medical help or a clinic and the itch was unbearable plus the skin was turning leather like, so I resorted to my grandmother's cure. I was always skeptical, but am now a believer. Not only did the itch stop, but within two days my skin started to return to a more normal condition.
