I don't think any Dr. would commit to that alone. They would want to Biopsy the Prostate to determine if there are Cancer Cells present. I recently had such a procedure, and my PSA was only 4.0, but had previously only been less than one.

My Dr. had felt a small mass, and therefore wanted to do the Biopsy. The result was negative, thanks be to God. Follow ups in 6 months. Numbers are only indicators, and can be affected by external factors such as sexual activity or bike riding prior to the test.
