Is there a name for needing everyone to like you?

I'm sure of the specific name for someone needing everyone to like them but in my opinion, this happens because the person does not feel good about himself or herself. And this happens because he or she is not getting positive feedback from family, friends, etc. Positive feedback and doing things that make you feel good about yourself, are important because they make you feel good about 'you.' It's not important that everyone likes you, in fact, this will never happen. Always keep in mind that you don't need the approval of others. If you like yourself and feel good about what you're doing, you won't have the need to be liked all the time by others... Everyone is unique and has the right to be happy. So, do the best you can, move on with your life and enjoy what our 'creator' has given to you. And, if you're dissatisfied with yourself and feel that you need help, seek help from a trusted friend or a professional, who will help guide you to a better and happier life.
