The categorization of the Bible in a library is subjective and varies based on the library's policies. Some libraries may place it in the religion or reference section, recognizing its significance to many people. Others may classify it as literature or in a general non-fiction category. Ultimately, it is up to the discretion of the library administration.
Fiction and non fiction
There are a number of sections in a library and they can vary depending on the size of the library. Common sections include fiction, non-fiction, research, technical, periodical, circulation, and acquisition.
Non-Fiction crime books would generally be found in the non-fiction section in the library and ordered by the author's surname. Of course if they are fictional crime books they would be found in the fiction section.
There are many different library sections. These library sections include but are not limited to science fiction, fiction, and non fiction.
