Some bottled waters are pretty much the same as tap water. The main advantage of bottled water is that it doesn't have chlorine as does tap water. But now there's evidence that the plastic that contains most bottled water emits toxic chemicals....
This chemical is a chemical that is known to cause a rare type of Alzheimer's disease so be careful. I recommend you drink tap water, it may have chlorine but it might be better for you than bottled water.
edit:::
Millions and millions of dollars are spent each week on advertising Ideas and/or discussions to give people the main idea that bottled water comes from some far away mountain spring or an underground aquifer, assuring purity and quality. However, the fact is that bottled water is oftentimes little more than just tap water in a bottle may sometimes be worse.
You see, the federal regulations that govern bottled water require it to be only as good as tap water, not better. There are no regulations or requirements that bottled water are any higher in quality than tap water, and according to some recent studies, it may often be of lower quality.
The fact is that people pay from $1 to $4 a gallon for the perception of higher quality, when in fact the quality of bottled water is at best unknown. Over 90% of the cost of bottled water is in the bottle lid and label.
The bottled water industry is full of deception and questionable ethics. Industry lobbyists successfully fight every year to keep bottled water companies from having to abide by even the minimal health standards set by the EPA for tap water. City tap water, from surface water, must be filtered and disinfected. In contrast, there are no federal filtration or disinfections requirements for bottled water. Most cities using dsurface water have had to test for (Cryptosporidium) or (Guardia), two common water (pathogens) that can cause diarrhea and other intestinal problems even though bottled water companies do not have to do this.
It all goes to the same treatment plant and is sent down stream to the next town or city. All tap water is the same, sink or toilet.
I prefer toilet water (so tap water)
tap, toilet, rain.... The dog won't know or care.
Sea Water, Fresh Water, Tap Water, Toilet Water, Bottled Water.
Flushing a toilet with clean water from the tap is typically more efficient and environmentally friendly than using bottled water, which has a higher carbon footprint due to production and transportation. Both options have an impact on water resources, but using clean tap water for flushing is generally more sustainable.
same same your no help! ^ Better Answer: Tap water!
No, it isn't faster, tap water freezes just at the same temperature as tap water
Each flush of a toilet uses the same amount of water.
Depends on what company you're comparing tap water to. But most bottled water companies use filtered water (the same as tap water). In most cases bottled water is not purer than tap water. Note that tap water is not the same everywhere, not are all brands of bottled water the same. But legal requirements for water purity are the same for tap water as for bottled water. In some cases, bottled water actually is tap water, that has simply been taken from the tap and put into bottles.
Toilet water isn't fresher than tap water. In fact, toilet water comes from the same source as tap water, so they are essentially the same in terms of freshness. Sometimes the perception might be influenced by factors like cleanliness of the toilet bowl or presence of cleaning chemicals.
It could be a faulty thermostat. But it could also be that a tap downstairs is being used, or a toilet is being flushed, or even your next door neighbour has opened a water tap. If your neighbour is on the same cold water feed as you, then opening a tap next door will alter the water pressure to the shower - hence the variable shower temperature.
Same as a regular toilet.
