Mostdefinitely In fact many scientists refer to the substance as the best source for electrolytes during intense cardio. Smart water has four different electrolytes (potassium, sodium, magnesium, Chloride), whereas Gatorade and other sport drinks only have three of the previous electrolytes. Smart water is simply the same as many sport drinks, but without the strong flavoring and sugar, which is not appealing to many. The drink is used by a significant amount of marathon runners to prevent cramping while performing.
Vitamin water is a better source for electrolytes. After intense exercise it is recommended to consume vitamin water because it replenishes both the electrolytes and water lost through sweating. Though Gatorade is good for you in very few ways, it should be consumed in moderation, not subsequent to every workout. Also, do not drink Gatorade during workout because it will cause burn out, due to its high sugar levels. When deciding between the two, it is best to resort to vitamin water.
Lemons are a good source of electrolytes such as potassium, magnesium, and calcium. While they may not be as concentrated as some sports drinks, lemons can still help replenish electrolytes lost through sweating and provide hydration.
Like anything else, too much water is not good either. It can wipe out electrolytes, to include sodium, potassium, and other substances required by cells.Like anything else, too much water is not good either. No. You do not need to be excersizing to be able to drink Gatorade. Gatorade is also a good source of electrolytes.
Good source of water, sources of minerals and good source of powers.
All acids and bases are electrolytes. However, the strong acids or bases are strong electrolytes, and the weak acids or bases are weak electrolytes. Electrolytes are substances, that when dissolved in water, produce ions capable of conducting electricity. Sodium hydroxide (NaOH) is a strong base, and strong electrolyte. Hydrogen bromide is a strong acid, and also a strong electrolyte. Ionic compounds generally form good electrolytes because they completely ionize when dissolved in water, and can then conduct electricity. Gatorade can be marketed as an "electrolyte containing beverage" because when the ionic salt, NaCl (table salt) or KCl, is added to water, it ionizes into Na+ and Cl-, which then are able to conduct electricity. Pure water is a very weak base, and bad conductor of electricity; there aren't enough free ions to carry a charge. We need electrolytes for conduction of nerve impulses, which are electrical. The reason why we even consume sports drinks is because we lose ionic salts in our sweat. Loss of too much salt through perspiration, and intake of too much pure water, diminishes our ability to conduct nerve impulses - which results in cramping, fatigue, and in extreme cases, death. In short, sports drinks are, without sugar and flavoring, just water with small amounts of different salts thrown in - and acids and bases are electrolytes.

yes, because many electrolytes are lost while sweating. stay away from sugar-heavy drinks though; diluted gatorade with 50% water works well.
Need more details. "Sweet" as in with sugar added in it? Probably not good when your thirsty, or not as good as distilled water. But naturally sweet water, such as from fruits, can be very good for thirst. I know coconut water is especially beneficial, with electrolytes and all.
water is an weak electrolyte because of strong hydrogen bonding between water molecules
electrolytes are in water. They are substances that allow your body to work and move, so when you work hard Ike during p.e the electroyltes come out in sweat. If you have a drink that was more electrolytes than water it's good, Water is natural so it doesn't ahce many, remember that
