it depends on the type of thing, if itis a human living in a lare tribe, it is quantity, if it is a rich person livig in new york, they can buy as many hotdogs as they want, if it is an owl it is quantity because owls dont really care how the food tastes they just eat roednts and other small animals.
i wish i knew.
Nature prefers to be in balance, so neither is more important than the other. w/o predators the prey animal population might explode to the point where the local environment can't support them. And w/o prey there won't be anything to sustain the predators.
Because Zebras are prey, and if Zebras were gone then other animals, and then more animals.
prey prey and more prey
Balance. Without predators there would be too many of the "prey" which would infringe on the basic food supply. For example, without predators killing/eating dear, the deer would eat up all the grass, which in turn affects the soil nitrogen levels, which in turn affects the quality and quantity of grass and other plant life.
The birds of prey play a very important role in the community. The bird of prey helps in maintaining the ecosystem.
if predators will be more more prey will be killed if prey will be less predator will die of hunger
There's quite a few ways to answer this question. Let me give you two: Predators are an important selective force. They are in a constant evolutionary 'arms race' with their prey. Research the 'Red Queen Hypothesis' for more info about this. This is supposed to be one of the major selective forces in evolution. Predators and their prey are ecologically dependent on one another. Predators may regulate the population of their prey, allowing the environment to be able to successfully sustain them. Likewise, without enough prey, predators will tend to decline in population, which results in a quite complex predator-prey cycle. I suggest you research predator-prey ecology if you want more details.
The prey is always smaller than the predator that's why it takes more prey to feed a predator.
It would Increase or stay the same becuz More Food for Prey = More prey Nd More Prey = More food For Predator Get it I Tryd to Make This Easy For You To Understand and IM SUrprised I Pay attenstion in Biology :D

Predators are very important in the community because if they didn't catch their prey, then their prey would become overpopulated and there would not be enough producers( Grass, plants etc.) for the prey.
