Yes newspaper ink is toxic. However you would have to eat a lot of newspapers before it became a health issue

(I was unable to find conclusive proof that is still true. While newspaper ink was toxic it now seems that companies have moved to safer inks - Although cannot find conclusive proof that they all have either!)

No it is not, it may give you stomach pains but is not fatal in most case's you do not even have to call poison control. Although i have searched up on the subject i am not sure please take this into consideration. You may want to call poison control to be sure.

Many inks are non toxic, some are toxic. They are not meant for internal consumption.
