Hydrogen Poroxide, a molecule that consists of two hydrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms, can be harmful. Usually, it is used to disinfect cuts or open wounds that you might have. Although the makeup of it is very similar to water (only one more oxygen atom), it can be fatal to intake. Normal side effects of small swallowing a small amount include nausea, stomach cramps, vomiting and/or fainting. Becauee if this, if a dog (or other domestic animal of that size) swallows a harmful substance, a veterinarian would advise you to feed the animal a small amount of hydrogen peroxide, in order to cause it to vomit up the harmful substance. I hope this helps you.
