I wouldn't exactly say that I'm starving myself. I may not eat for up to 3 days then I would eat an extremely large meal. Then I would not eat for several more days. I never actually find myself hungry, but rather I get "cravings" to taste food. I work full time at a "physical" job and I would do alot of walking and cycling. At the beginning of last month, I weighed 12 1/2 stone. It dropped by almost a stone in the first week (I was also slightly sick and vomiting) and has been steadily dropping since then. I am currently hovering around the 9 1/2 stone mark. I'm a 5'11" 18year old male. Have I lost too much too fast? And will this "diet" hurt me?

I'm pretty sure that's its unhealthy to not eat for a day or two. Your body needs food.

Fasting

For those in good overall condition and engaged in little physical activity, fasting is often performed as a religious ritual or similar practice. As long as water is consumed, the body will continue to function on its reserves of fat and protein. There are some concerns : 1) that the body will begin to scavenge protein from the muscles, 2) that the body will store away existing sugars in reaction to the reduced intake, and 3) that this can exacerbate deficiencies in vitamins and minerals necessary for metabolism. These can make fasting unsuitable for purposes of dieting or losing weight.
