I would say it is probably not unsafe to take them, in fact, I highly doubt that Calcium would ever go bad (Calcium Carbonate is basically chalk). According to FDA standards, the expiration date is the point at which 90% of the medication still remains- meaning if anything, it will be less effective than it would have been.
But really, some new calcium supplements should cost $2.00- just take generic tums (Calcium Carbonate). Look for them in the antacid section!
No. If it was safe, then it wouldn't be expired.
non expired beef stock is not safe if not handled properly so you can imagine expired stock.
No, hence the word expired. It is unsafe to eat anything expired. Dispose of anything expired.
i wouldn't if it is more then 3 days expired.
Not usually, no.

It is safe to use an expired propane tank because it is a heat source and not an actual food. The only concern is if the tank is still safe to use without a risk of combusting.
No! I had this same question and called the pharmacy. They said that most medications are safe to take if they are expired, however, expired Lyrica is extremely dangerous.
It is 'Safe' as there will be no bodily harm, but it will taste slightly different and seem abit slimy/mucus like.
If you opened the original container, and if it is not expired, then yes it is safe to take.
