Is it possible to literally choke on air?

sometimes when people take to deep a breathe unnecessarily, the alveolar ( air sacks responsible for gas exchange of carbon dioxide and oxygen ) get overworked and as an emergency action of pushing out excess air , the diaphragm forcefully pushes the lungs upwards instead of going downwards to allow the lungs to swell ( diaphragm is a muscle just below the lungs and goes downwards when we breathe in and upwards when we breathe out ).

Therefore , we get choked on the air since the diaphragm goes out of its rhythm.

Stage fright will cause this.

You can choke on ait, just like if you choke on water. If you inhale it wrong it will be in your body improperly.
