it depends on your hair straightener, some hair straightener can straighten your hair even if its wet.
it fizzes because the water in your damp hair is evaporating.
if you have a regular hair striaightener i suggest you dry your hair first then straighten it.
It is good to straighten hairs when they are wet because it locks in the moisture however, you must have a straightener designed to do this. Your hair is the most breakable when it is wet and if you use any straightener to do this it will damage the hair enormously.

there is a part of your ear like a baloon. The inside of that part is covered in tiny hairs and there is some liquid.
