It is considered good to have a nap during the day, especially after lunch. The blood supply to the gastrointestinal tract increases after lunch and people often feel drowsy after a heavy meal. Such a short sleep is called 'siesta'. Some corporates in Germany encourage employees to have sleep break after lunch. Siesta is advocated in Indian system of medicine called Ayurved.
