Yes, it could be an indication of reproductive cancers or endometriosis. It can also lead to severe anemia (low blood iron). You should see a doctor right away. It may not be serious but don't take that chance. God bless you. Be well.

I have had this issue when i first started having my periods. i was very irregular and would go weeks and sometimes months on my period when i would get them and then they jsut seemed to stop. what could be wrong is you may have something called pcos or poly cystic ovarian syndrome. some symptoms include male pattern hair growth like extra hair or thick hair on your tummy or back or even your face. also losing hair on your head. if you are over weight that is also a symptom. what i would suggest is for you to ask your obgyn and talk with him or her about the possibility of something being wrong. the sooner you find out the better1 good luck1 i hope i helped.
You should see a doctor to make sure it's not something serious. A period that long can be dangerous because of blood loss. Hey, at least you might have fewer periods now! XD
Nothing,remember everybody's different.in fact, I have the same problem.and I'm only 10 ! I have a friend that's 12 and still doesn't have hers! How weird is that? !?!
Justt wait till its over. You might have a long peroid because the last one was shorter.if it last more than 2weeks see a doctor.
